You can edit the titles of the desktops, lock the layout, change the arrangement style, etc. If you swipe from the left to the right on the docked row of apps, you will access the Multiwindow View which lets you manage the appearance of the icons on the desktops. The Volume shade contains a Mute button, system and media sound volume sliders as well as a brightness level slider. There's a one-handed mode as well, that shrinks the screen to make one-handed operation easier.
It supports plenty of functions, which will be discussed in detail further below. For starters, there's the One Step feature that opens a top and right sidebar with shortcuts to apps and contacts. There is no Widgets menu, however, there are many features for customizing the UI. The Navigation bar appears on the Home screen without the option to be minimized. By default, there are three desktops with apps - the first two contain the default ones and the third contains third-party applications. The bottom row is docked and visually separated from the rest. The whole desktop is taken up by app icons. A swipe up unlocks the smartphone and you land on the Home screen. From the Settings, you can choose to display the battery charging advancement as a wallpaper. In between, you can enjoy an unhindered view of the wallpaper you've selected. The left half of the bottom is taken up by a Time/Date widget and the right half contains shortcuts to the Phone, Messenger, and Camera app. The Lock Screen shows a tiny status bar on top with the exact time displayed in its middle. So without further ado, let's check out the basic UI features. Smartisan OS 4.1.6 supports 5 languages: Chinese Simplified, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), English, Japanese, and Korean. Not to mention that it has a distinctive style. When this is done, you will be positively impressed how many clever and user-friendly features it offers, some of which are unique compared to those on the other UIs we've reviewed.
