I'll leave this open for now, as if there is something we can do, this is a serious issue, but just wanted to level set that this is not going to be something easy or simple to fix as it's likely specific to your environment. I've been running Windows 11 since the official release (as have several other community members) and this has not happened on any of our systems. Unfortunately, this report is not actionable as it does not contain enough information, we'd need some kind of crash log or system failure event logs to even begin to investigate, but as mentioned it's unlikely this is directly caused by OBS. It sounds like you have a faulty device that OBS is trying to access (most commonly some kind of video capture device), or you have some other kind of system stability, such as a GPU crashing, faulty memory, unstable overclocking, etc. OBS runs in user space, and can't really directly cause this kind of system-level hang. I am not sure if it occurs for Windows 11 only or not, but I would love to know about it.
Obs studio windows 10 ui freeze Pc#
I tried OBS on my friend's PC also who is also using Windows 11.
